Later, I realized what it was. Or rather, who: Yayoi Kusama. I went to her exhibit when it came to Toronto and loved it. You see, in grade 5 I was obsessed with checkered and polka dot patterns. All my work for art class had tiny checkered boxes that I meticulously coloured by hand incorporated in some way.

So then I thought this could easily be a DIY project...that I won’t do 😂 But if you want an easy project with a permanent marker and a lamp, there you go 🙊

P.S. I don’t know if that would actually work 😂 Also, anyone else like the Yayoi Kusama exhibit? 🙋🏻♀️

While we don’t have an exact date yet, you’ll be the first to know once it’s safe to meet again and we’ll make it happen with precautions in place. The good news is that products are still being done from my home studio via contactless drop off 😊
