DJ Blush (Britt Townson-Labovitz) has been spinning tunes and throwing parties all over the city of Toronto and abroad since 2009. Brittney's musical obsessions and influences span all genres and eras, and have ever since a tender age – today, this translates into everything she is and does, as she constantly strives to amalgamate and project all things soul, energy, and joy! Her deep love of all

things music, parties and overall good times landed her the gig taking over the legendary dance party Shake A Tail at Clinton’s Tavern in 2010 as the co-creator of DJ duo Bangs & Blush. She threw one of Toronto’s most prominent 60’s Soul dance parties there for the next 5 years: Shake Rattle & Roll, as well as other highly successful events F**k It and BEATLEMANIA!. Since 2015, Brittney has been flying solo as DJ Blush and exploded onto the scene, finding some success to call her own. In 2023, DJ Blush celebrated 10 consecutive seasons as the resident DJ at Budweiser Stage, and she’s just about to start her 11th! She’s been lucky enough to DJ at shows for a wide range of acts from New Order to Dolly Parton to Janet Jackson. Vincent and Westlife for their Toronto tour dates. In 2021, she was nominated for and won the Now Magazine Readers Poll category for BEST LOCAL DJ. When Covid hit, she found huge success throwing livestream dance parties on Mixcloud and Twitch. And she’s ready for whatever is about to come next! Britt is running on 15+ years as a professional DJ in the wild city of Toronto, and she’s absolutely thrilled and humbled by the experiences, memories and achievements she’s accumulated, all while just being a dork and playing music for people – life is weird. She’s only getting started!
