We’re kicking off our fall workshops with TWO Lino Block Printing classes! 🥳
Tentative date for both workshops: October 10th
🌞 Morning - Beginner Lino Block Printing
A 1.5-hour guided workshop where you’ll choose from a variety of premade lino designs, learn how to properly ink and stamp, and create your very own tote bag! Don't worry, we'll have coffee brewing for this one.
🌙 Afternoon - Advanced Lino Block Printing
A 3-hour, more hands-on workshop where you’ll design, transfer, and carve your very own lino block stamp before using it to create your tote bag. Premade designs will also be available, but you’ll still get to do the carving yourself!
So, what’s the difference?
While both workshops have a similar end result (a custom printed tote bag), the Advanced class puts much more of the process into your hands. You’ll be creating your own stamp from start to finish, making it a little more involved and a little more challenging.
And no, you do NOT need to take the Beginner class first to participate in the Advanced workshop! The Beginner class may give you some helpful knowledge and experience, but it is definitely not a requirement.
