The grass isn't yet green but you sure can tell it's spring!

Mallard ducks, blackbirds, chickadees, blue jays, mourning doves, grackles, and squirrels in the front of the house
and a cute ground hog in the back of the house.

Not sure where he put his dirt for his hole? Although we love them, he was transported to a nice new piece of land with lots of dirt to dig.

From the house of Gryffindor, Alisha,
and the house of Hufflepuff, Kyle,
two perfect for each other Potterheads
wed at Whispering Willow on 10.19.2024.

From their cats' footprints on their table numbers and the Father of the Bride's speech hand written in calligraphy, their wedding was an absolute joy to participate in.

Thank goodness for our own Potterhead staff who were able to guide us on the essential details to wed the two houses and adorn their Potter accessories of glasses, lightning bolt foreheads, and ties, for the theme.

Alisha, a former cheerleader, choreographed an amazing first dance which she and her groom executed flawlessly. Video drop in the future.

We reminisce about the meetings held with A&K and think about how they loved to sit in the Ballroom Barn for hours on end, expressing how they never wanted to leave, and we are grateful for the memories of the past and looking forward to the reunion of the future, with this very special couple.

"There, there Hagrid, It's not really goodbye, after all." - we have yet to announce our 2026 reunion.

These geese are proof that a happy marriage is possible even with adamantly opposing points of view.

Today marks the first day of Spring as well as the return of the geese to Whispering Willow.

One of us is happy to see the geese, one of us isn't. 😀😟
