✨ NEW DESIGNS INCOMING ✨
When I first started designing invitations, most of my focus was on kid-themed parties—fun, playful, and full of color. But recently, I decided to try something a little different: more sophisticated, grown-up designs for life’s other big milestones.

And I’m so glad I did.

These three new invitations are my first step into a more elevated, mature style—without losing the warmth, charm, and little details that bring joy to a celebration. Whether you’re sipping martinis in your finest, saddling up for a glittery girls’ night, or raising a glass to the end of your twenties (with a slightly dramatic flair), I hope these designs help make your event feel just a little more you.

They’re all editable, printable, and designed to make your next event beautifully easy to plan.

One of my favourite parts of launching The Joy Edit has been bringing people’s unique visions to life. In fact, the balloon animal design was a custom piece created for someone who reached out with an idea—and seeing it come together reminded me why I love doing this so much. 🥹

If you have a theme in mind, a colour palette you love, or want something that feels truly “you,” I’d be so happy to design it for you. I’ll work with you to craft an invitation or event graphic that’s personalized, beautiful, and easy to use—whether it’s for a birthday, baby shower, or any sweet celebration in between.

✨ So… how does this all work? ✨

I’m still in the early days of launching The Joy Edit, and it’s been such a fun and meaningful journey so far. Right now, I’m in the exciting stage of uploading my first six designs to Etsy—each one thoughtfully made and joyfully shared. These first pieces are extra special to me because they’re my very first.

From here, I’ll be continuing to create and share new designs regularly. This whole process has been such a creative learning curve, and I’m genuinely loving discovering my style as I go. These first designs are all children’s party themed, which felt like the natural place to begin—after all, this started with me designing invites for my own son. 💕

But as things grow, I’d love to branch out and try my hand at other moments worth celebrating—baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette, girls night—the list is endless, and my mind is buzzing with ideas!

Today’s the day! ✨

Today, I finally get to share the very first 6 designs from The Joy Edit. 💕 These are true labours of love—thoughtfully created with joy, whimsy, and a whole lot of heart. I know not every style is for everyone—and that’s okay. I’m proud of what I’ve made, and I believe they’ll find the people who love them too. 🥹

Like I mentioned in my last post, I’m officially revealing the very first batch of designs for The Joy Edit and I thought it’d be fun to give you a little sneak peek.

Buuut there’s a twist.
Not every little preview you see here is a new design. Some are just random pictures and others are ones that didn’t make the cut.

Let’s rewind a little…
Every story starts somewhere and for The Joy Edit, it started right here. 💗

These were the very first invitations I ever made. Simple, made with love, and totally just-for-fun. From the beginning, my husband said, “You should design and try to sell these.” I knew I enjoyed it… I just didn’t have the confidence yet to believe I could.

But when I made Maverick’s second birthday invite, something shifted. I thought, maybe I can. Somewhere between the colors, the characters, and the joy of sharing those little designs, a quiet dream started to grow.

I knew there was so much more to learn and that if I really wanted to create invitations for others, it would take time, effort, and a whole lot of practice. These first designs, while close to my heart, definitely needed fine-tuning. But hey… Rome wasn’t built in a day. 😉
