Lily Stone Gardens is a year round floral design shop and seasonal cut flower farm offering unique and stunning floral's for every occasion. We strive to be unique by utilizing as much of our own grown flowers as possible during the seasonal months. If you’ve ever wanted to grow your own bouquets but weren’t sure where to start or felt overwhelmed trying to figure it out on your own, this workshop is for you.

We’ll walk through the real basics of cut flower gardening. What to grow, how to start from seed, and how to make it actually work in a Manitoba growing season.

Not all flower seed mixes are created equal

Our Manitoba Seed Mix is hand collected from flowers grown in our very own garden. For a pop of color, we only add decorative petals that we also grow and dry ourselves.

Many store bought mixes include fillers like vermiculite, sand, sawdust, cornmeal, or pelletized clay to increase volume. Our mix does not include any of these added fillers or chemicals. Just a beautiful blend of cut flower favorites suited for our growing conditions.

A perfect starting point for gardeners looking to grow their own bouquets.

Our seed mix may include zinnias, calendula, cosmos, nigella, forget me nots, scabiosa, orlaya, Queen Anne’s lace and many more of our garden favorites.
