As we step into 2026, I just want to say thank you—from the bottom of my heart—to everyone who supported, attended, collaborated, and believed in the magic this past year. Every show, every smile, every moment of wonder shared with an audience is something I never take for granted.

No wonder the trick itself can be forgiven for now.

Because in that final moment—the pause, the reveal, the shared breath—everything makes sense. The confusion, the misdirection, the waiting… it all fades away, replaced by wonder. What mattered wasn’t how we got there, but how it made us feel when we arrived.

Last night the elves snuck into the studio and decided to try their hand at stage illusions… and went big right away with a sawing-in-half magic trick 😲🪄

Don’t worry—everyone survived, the magic worked, and the elves are now officially adding “illusionist” to their résumés. Just another reminder that magic really can happen anywhere… even after bedtime.

Sometimes people walk away saying, “There has to be two Soras up there.”

When Sora is moving across the stage—vanishing in one moment and reappearing in another—it feels almost impossible to track. One second Sora is here, the next second somewhere completely different, as if time itself skipped a beat.

It’s that combination of speed, precision, and presence that makes the illusion feel bigger than one person. The stage becomes a playground where logic blurs, reality bends, and for a brief moment, the impossible feels real.

If it looks like there’s more than one Sora on stage… then the magic is working exactly as intended. ✨

The Origin

Sitruc James fell in love with magic at a very young age after learning his first trick, The Dove Pan from an older magician. He loved the feeling of making people laugh and the amazement he left his audience with. His grandfather noticing his enthusiasm with magic decided to buy him a few magic tricks. This became there pass time for many years and together the practiced and built tricks and illusions. Through out elementary and high school Sitruc James performed many birthday parties and shows with the school and community association.

After high school Sitruc became more and more fascinated with stage illusions and started to build larger and more complex illusions to perform for his audiences. He spent the next few years performing small local corporate shows and birthday parties. In 2010 Sitruc began travelling abroad performing and mastering his craft. Although he didn’t join the International Brotherhood of Magicians until 2019.

Sitruc James has mastered his craft over the past many years with 100’s of hours performing. He is quickly becoming one of Canada's most sought after performers. He has flown across Canada and into the US sharing his rare, and unique brand of magic that has had the country laughing out loud and wondering where they can see him next.
