Its been the strangest of times for me this past couple years. Suspending markets due to health and a disability. Selling our house and the ensuing move, the settling in new accommodations. So very weird.
Then in February 2026 hubby was hit with the RSV virus on top of his copd put him in hospital on life support for 5 days and total of nearly 2 weeks in hospital. Slow recovery but not a complete recovery from that. He has other health issues popping up to compound the issue.and further testing at Foothills Hosp. coming up right away. Lots of prayers and support were and are forthcoming.

The best I can do is hope for the best and put future projects on hold for a while and we'll see what happens

Working on some potential new food projects for summer on line sales via market place et al. Going take a bit of experimenting in the hopes of creating something yummy for summer. Thanks to everyone that keep checking my page to see what's up.

Still unpacking and attempting to decorate/ stage the apartment, it will come together eventually. Biggest challenge is virtually no cupboard/storage space, the kitchen is a "you have to go outside to change your mind" lol. Grocery shopping and bringing supplies in is a challenge using the elevator and my trusty wagon helps.

I was hoping to be able to produce some products to sell on line this summer, just a couple of things. We shall see. Things are different with retirement leaving the food service after 26 years is a huge change. I'll post any new projects, if any, on my page. Thanks everyone, miss you all so much. I'll keep posting with updates big or small.💜

Update, got moved to our rental apartment, not crazy about apartment living, but thats life. So much work to go from a house to an apartment, but no more upkeep, anything goes wrong its somebody elses problem some expenses no longer needed,still trying to get unpacked and find places to put things. I need to be patient, it will come together soon...I hope lol.

Well our house sold with in a couple days of listing, now trying to get packed and ready to move back to apartment living after a few decades living in a house. Signed the rental lease today. Major life change, will see how well we fare with the changes coming up.

Its been a taxing few months, getting ready to sell our house, then finding an alternative place to live for a while, because of that turmoil I've had to suspend my baking business for the time being simply no time to carry on, hoping to be settled before the christmas season. Time will tell. Thanks All💜💜

Thanks for all that keep visiting my page, I haven’t really fallen off the face of the earth quite yet, but some days I sure feel like it. Getting ready to sell our house, the clean outs, the donations, the junk collection pick up and out poor “old” and I do mean “old” garage that’s has collected all those things for 25 years, pretty much all gone now. Slowly coming together. Once we finish that job then the house will be listed and we have to find a new place to live, to wit I’m astonished at the rental prices these days, all I can say is Yikes! Once we get settled later this fall I hope to do some by order only baking and what every else I can think of to keep me occupied.

It's been a good year for our spring markets ln Sylvan, Bowden and Didsbury. Always such fun with such terrific customers and vendors
Now its time to concentrate on down sizing our home so we can get it listed for sale. It's simply come to the time in our lives to get into a smaller property. If all goes well we'll once again be ready for our fall and Christmas market season. Will keep ya'll updated as we progress. Cheerscand thanks again for your loyalty.
