For my lambaderos out there looking for a good set to dance to, this is the one! 🔥🌟
Last weekend was Le Québec Sensual Dance Week-end, one of the best dance events of the year here in Quebec City, hosted at Studio Salsa Attitude.
It’s always a very special feeling for me to come back to my hometown and play music for the people from my own community. This year we had amazing guest artists like Iago & Vanessa, Robinson & Larissa, Shawn & Esther, and incredible DJs such as DJ Caïpi and DJ Visual Heightz, with dancers coming from many different communities to share the weekend together.
The energy in the room was absolutely beautiful — warm, joyful, and full of connection. I had the chance to play the last set of the night, and I might have gotten a little carried away… I ended up playing 30 minutes past the official closing time, but the dance floor was still full and nobody wanted the night to end, so I simply couldn’t stop the party.
I especially enjoyed playing this set because it’s not so often that I get to go back to the roots with more traditional Lambada and Zouk Beat music — and I truly love it, especially when there are Lambada artists in the room bringing that authentic energy to the floor.
