We are thrilled and beyond grateful to the PEI Liquor Control Commission and the PEI Cannabis Management Corporation for choosing the PEI Humane Society as their Charity of the Month for March.

Thanks to their incredible support — and the generosity of their customers — over $44,000 was raised to help care for animals in need across Prince Edward Island. 🐾💛

This donation will make a huge impact on the lives of the pets who come through our doors, providing them with shelter, medical care, and love while they wait for their forever homes.

From all of us (furry friends included!) at the PEI Humane Society — thank you for being champions of animal welfare! 🐶🐱🐰

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Red Isle Relay! 🚨

The Red Isle Relay is a thrilling tip-to-tip race across PEI, celebrating athleticism, community, and the island’s stunning landscapes. To make this event a success, we’re looking for volunteers to help at our water stations in Tyne Valley on race day!

📅 Race Date: June 21st
🛑 Water Station Locations & Set-Up Times:
1:30-3:30 Cavendish Farms Community Events Centre

We need 2-3 volunteers per station and a crossing guard ( to help with crossing the street from Route 12 to Port HIll Station Road) on site to ensure our runners stay hydrated and energized! 💦

What a great way to end our 2024-25 Season 🤩

Well that's a wrap, and we pulled it off!!!
This year was a bitter sweet victory for us,
As we finally won the championship of this amazing tournament, how ever our beloved coach Neil was not behind the bench, but was with each and every one of in our hearts....

** Neil, your team played through the pain and shed a few tears, we hope we made you proud up there, we love you and miss you coach.

This one's for you Hacksaw

We would like to say a huge thank you to Cavendish farms community events center and their staff for a great weekend,
Also to Crapaud Volunteer Fire Department ,New Glasgow Fire dept, Miscouche Fire Dept. Summerside Fire Department, Kinkora and Area Volunteer Fire Department, Cardigan Fire Department and Island EMS for joining us in this adventure, we hope you all had a great time and we look forward to many more.

To the countless Volunteers who gave up their weekend to make this event a huge success we say a big thank you!

And finally to our great community who came out in numbers even first thing in the morning on a Sunday to cheer us on, your support definitely did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated by everyone,

It's the last day for the tournament 👨🏼‍🚒

After some great battles this weekend we have the semi finals set for this morning

Tyne Valley (1st) vs. Crapaud Volunteer Fire Department (4th) at 8:30 am

Cardigan Fire Department (2nd) vs New Glasgow Fire (3rd) at 9:45 am

Winner of both games moves on to the championship game at 11:15.

The raffle draw will take place prior to the championship game if you haven't got your tickets yet we will sell them up til that point at the rink or through the TVFD Fire Wheel.

Tournament starts today at 6pm! 👨🏼‍🚒

This is the official Schedule for the tournament

There will be a weekend long 50/50 💰 for the tournament as well as the raffle draw to be taken place just before the championship game on Sunday.

All proceeds from this tournament go to the ALS society of Prince Edward Island.

The Friday night 7:15 game will be the opening ceremonies of the tournament, as this marks the first tournament we have had without our beloved coach Neil Mackendrick, the Mackendrick family will be dropping the puck for our first game, and Tyne Valleys own Cullen Ellis will be there to sing the National anthem.

Also the great Bobby Noye will be on hand friday to do a special 50/50, 100 percent of the 50/50 money collected on Friday will go to Neil's family to help with any financial constraints during this difficult time.

Thank you in advance for showing up and supporting your local fire departments from tip to tip across this great island. 🙏🏻
