๐ง STAGE 2 WATER RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE MONDAY, JUNE 8 ๐ง
Here is a quick breakdown of what you need to know during a Stage 2 restrictions to keep our water supply safe and sustainable! ๐
๐ก Lawn Sprinkling (Residential & Non-Residential)
๐ Odd-numbered addresses: Water on ODD calendar days between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
๐ Even-numbered addresses: Water on EVEN calendar days between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
โจThe Golden Rule: Only ONE hose can be used at a time (this applies to underground systems too, during the same hours).
Need an exception? If you're establishing a brand new lawn, tree, or garden, you must apply for an Exemption from Watering Restrictions Permit from the Director of Infrastructure and display it prominently https://powellriver.civicweb.net/document/159145/
๐งผ Pressure & Surface Washing (Private/Non-Commercial)
โ Aesthetic washing is a no-go.
โ Washing outdoor surfaces for looks is currently prohibited.

Safety first: You can still wash outdoor surfaces for health and safety reasons, or to prepare a surface for painting/sealing. ๐จ
๐ Car & Vehicle Washing

You can still wash your ride at home, but you must use a hose equipped with a spring-loaded shut-off nozzle so water isn't running constantly. ๐ฆ
