Big things are happening at the Harbour Quay tomorrow!

We are so excited to support the City of Port Alberni with this awesome HGTV event by providing the stage and audio!

Huge thank you to the city for inviting us to work with them. We love collaborating to bring events like this to life, and we look forward to doing much more work together in the future!

Guess what?? The hit HGTV show Home Town Takeover is coming to Canada this year—and Port Alberni is in the running!

What does that mean? It means we could get a town makeover from their team of renovation experts and designers.

The show's producers have challenged us to come together one more time and show them why Port Alberni is the best choice!

What an incredible weekend of learning at The KCC - Concert Hall & Social House.

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s Introduction to Sound session. Following Saturday’s lighting workshop, it was the perfect way to round out our Technical Production Weekend.

We love seeing the “aha!” moments—whether it’s someone understanding signal flow for the first time or a seasoned pro refining their mixing workflow.

Helping build the technical capacity of our community is a huge part of what we do at Five Acre Co., and we’re so grateful to everyone who showed up to make it happen.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Introduction to Lighting workshop. We had a blast geeking out over DMX and rig setups with such an engaged group of beginners and pros alike!

Now, we’re ready for Round 2. We can’t wait to see everyone today for Introduction to Sound! Andrew Taylor is getting the boards ready and we’re diving deep into signal flow, EQ, and mixing starting at 10 a.m.

The Port Alberni Toy Run happened this past Saturday and it was a hit! Over 1100 motorcycles descended into to bring toys and other donations for the kids of the valley! And we got to provide the production elements for the dance that with local band The Epixx and Wunderbread! It was fun and for a good cause 👍🙌 thank you all who came out and supported the event.
