We are officially opening for the season on June 2nd and we couldn't be more excited!

Whether the taco trailer is completely finished or not, Mi Sueño will be OPEN and serving up all your favourite tacos starting with our first Taco Tuesday of the summer! 🌮🔥

This year we've got some exciting new things to share with you!

After months of roasting, blending, tasting, testing, tweaking, and finding the perfect balance of flavours, our first small-batch hot sauces are finally here!

This winter and spring have been filled with planning, building, creating, testing recipes, and getting ready for another incredible season. We are so excited to finally open our doors, see familiar faces, meet new ones, and spend another summer serving great food, sharing laughs, and making memories together.

🌮 UPDATE ON MI SUEÑO 🌮

Okay… we officially decided we are DONE waiting. 😂

The taco hut/trailer has honestly been a huge project behind the scenes and we know a lot of people have been trying to get ahold of us asking when we’re opening. We’re really trying our best to get everything finished properly, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we work through the chaos.

But summer is here, cottagers are arriving, the community keeps asking for tacos… so we’re kicking things off anyway. 🔥

🌮 SOFT OPENING STARTS JUNE 2ND 🌮
And YES…

✨ TACO TUESDAY IS BACK ✨
We’re so excited to bring back our first Taco Tuesday of the season and finally start serving food again. Because this is still a soft opening while we finish the taco hut behind the scenes, things will be a little more simple for now:
✨ Limited menu
✨ Limited quantities
✨ Smaller setup while we work out the craziness .

As summer continues, we’ll slowly start announcing more things we’ll be doing throughout the season — special events, themed nights, new menu items, beach vibes, and more. ☀️🌴

We’re kicking things off Friday June 5th Starting at 9pm with our first movie night featuring Coco! 💀🌺
We’ll be open serving food along with:

Families are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, or their own snacks too.

Because we’ll be open later throughout the summer, we also plan on doing more movie nights, game nights, and fun community evenings along the way.

One thing about Christian Island — we have some incredibly talented people in this community.

From local bakers, caterers, restaurants, cooks, and specialty food vendors — there are so many people here who are truly amazing at what they do, and this summer we wanted to create something that brings everybody together in one space.

Taste of the Island is a curated summer foodie showcase celebrating the amazing food, talent, creativity, and small food businesses our community has to offer.

If you’ve never tried someone’s baking, grabbed homemade bread, visited one of our local food spots, sampled local treats, or supported one of our talented food vendors — this is your chance because everybody will be together in one spot for a fun summer afternoon 🌊🍔🥧🌮🍿
