I’m Genny, and I’m a lover of beautiful moments, detailed plans, and making sure your wedding day is everything you’ve dreamed of (without the stress)! I’m here to ensure that your special day goes smoothly, leaving you and your guests to enjoy every second, instead of worrying about logistics behind the scenes. A little about me: I planned my own wedding and thought I could do it all—until a few

weeks before, when I realized, “hey, I’m the bride, and I can’t exactly coordinate my own wedding while standing at the altar and cutting our wedding cake!” In a state of semi-panic, I also quickly realized that everyone we would have asked to step into the role on the day of was invited to our wedding. We wanted our loved ones to enjoy the celebration instead of coordinating it – enter the day-of-coordinator. Having a day-of coordinator took such a weight off our shoulders. It gave us peace of mind knowing someone was there to handle everything, so we could just focus on being in the moment. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of taking a course in event management at Algonquin College, and assisting in coordinating both of my sisters’ weddings, as well as countless family and friends’ events. From intimate gatherings to large celebrations, I’ve learned how to juggle timelines, keep everything running smoothly, and anticipate the little details that make a big difference. I’m meticulous, organized, and thrive on making sure everything goes according to plan. Now, I’d love the opportunity to bring that focus and energy to couples like you! I’m passionate about helping you create a day that’s truly yours—beautiful, memorable, and, most importantly, stress-free. Sure, I don’t have a long-established client list yet, but coordinating is something I’ve been doing for years (hello, family and friends' events!), and I’m eager to grow my reputation one wedding at a time. To keep things low-pressure, I’ve priced my services to reflect where I am on this journey. If you're looking to have a bar at your wedding, it's worth looking into the details of what the venue (or bar service) offers, and if they have different packages or allow for customizations.

Some tips for what to ask/keep an eye out for:
- what type of liquor is or isn't included in the package (ex: top shelf liquor or not)
- are all ages subject to the same price or are those who are underage charged at a different price
- are signature drinks included or are they an additional charge
- what will and won't be served when (ex: if offering a welcome drink will the full bar be open or only select drinks)

Worth knowing that there are often options and tweaks that can be made to suit your personal style and wedding 🥂

This being the first summer under my business, I had so many new opportunities, which led to so many chances to learn new things!

Three of the top things I learned this wedding season were:

1. The couples you work with make all the difference - the number one question I get about my business is, "do you have any really difficult couples?" I am so blessed to say that I haven't! Every couple I've worked with this season has been an absolute pleasure.

2. Overestimate - when estimating setup time, I always arrived as early as the venue would allow, regardless of what I had to setup, this served me so well because there are inevitably little things that come up at the last minute that simply can't be anticipated. Having extra time made sure it all ran smoothly and on schedule.

3. Communicate - with the bride and groom, with the bridal party, with the vendors, do it constantly throughout the day. Touch base, share schedule updates, have a chat. This made everything feel supported and allowed us all to have a clear understanding throughout.

I cannot wait for my last couple of weddings of 2025 and endless opportunities to learn more ✨️

Don't let the pressure get to you. Here's what to include in your Best Man speech:

1. Introduce yourself.
2. Share a special memory of or story about the groom. If you wouldn't say it in front of their grandma, maybe leave it out :p.
4. Highlight the groom's strengths - start switching from a funny tone to a more sincere tone.
5. Share how you knew the couple was meant to be. What changed in the groom when he met the bride?
5. Share marriage wisdom or a quote about love and wish the couple well!
