There are faster ways to make things. Letterpress isn’t one of them.

“Lucky Press” comes from wanting more time with the process — ink, paper, pressure, and all the parts of printmaking that cannot be rushed. The name stuck for a different reason.

I don’t mean luck in the traditional sense 🍀 but the kind you make for yourself by sticking with something long enough.

With persistence (sometimes to a fault), a healthy dose of grit and a splash of delusion 🤣 I’ve always made my own luck. Now I want to make some for you.

Cody Calligraphy isn’t going anywhere — workshops, weddings, and events aren’t changing. You can think of her as my stage name 💃🏻 💅🏼 This just gives my artistic print work its own well-deserved space, just like ✨
