The energy at the 's launch of The Spirit of Sport - Active Together was inspiring!

Celebrating Professor Janice Forsyth (Fisher River Cree Nation) of the University of British Columbia and Western University as one of Canada’s leading voices in Indigenous sport development was a highlight of the event. Witnessing Janice being honoured with a Blanket Ceremony was a beautiful and powerfully emotional moment!⭐

Thank you Elder Shelley Charles, Elder Dan Ross, & Elder Richard Porter for sharing their grounding wisdom! Special thanks to Wina Sioui for her professional and engaging facilitation as Emcee.

Is it just us, or do these big snow falls have you missing 2025? ☃️

The team is officially in "reminisce mode" today. There’s something magical about the energy of a snowy festival—the crisp air, the bright lights against the white backdrop, and the way the community comes together despite the chill. 🧤✨

If you were there last year, drop a ❄️ or post your favorite photo from the event in the comments! Let’s reminisce together.
