As we grow the community, we think it’s only fitting to have the community themselves be part of the event planning 😊💛

Do you have a fun or creative event idea you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t had the chance? We’re here to help! 🙌

Simply message us your idea and we’ll help it come to life 🌱 you are free to be the main host and planner for the event and we’ll help out as you’d like! Or if you prefer a less frontline role, that’s no problem at all! We can help host and you can contribute in whatever ways you’d like (e.g. event poster, the schedule, etc.)!

You’ll gain volunteer experience and we can give you a shoutout on our page! 🔥

If you are simply too busy but would still like to see your idea happen, feel free to share it with us and we’ll see if we can run it ourselves on your behalf 😊

We are open to all event ideas that build community and are freely accessible! It can range from workshops to unique hangouts to anything really! We’d love to see some creative stuff!

We host free social gatherings for adults in Ottawa 😊☀️

It can be difficult to make new friends or find your community, especially after moving on from school and into later adult life. We want to help make this easier for people, while also being community-first 💛

We envision a future where community life and third places are revitalized.

** Our events are an inclusive space. There is zero tolerance to discrimination against
LGBTQIA+ 🏳️‍🌈, any ethnicities, genders, neurodivergent
folks, religions, etc. **

Our events are open to all adults in Ottawa! 🏞️ While most people that come out are in their 20s and 30s, we also have some folks in their 40s and above that come out.

We had spring, sunshine, and the sweetest kindness from the community and couldn't be more thankful for such a lovely and inspiring event that took place! ☀️🫶

Our potluck gathering was abundant with laughter over board games, inspiring creativity flowing through arts and crafts, and genuine connection being spread through the space. The energy, the enthusiasm, and the incredible turnout made it all the more special. Meaningful bonds were formed. How truly grateful we are for each and every person who showed up and shared their time together with us 💛

We also want to give a huge shoutout and THANK YOU to our volunteer team and everyone that helped us make this event possible and cleaned up afterwards. We couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.

All in all, this is what community is all about. We look forward to doing it again very soon, stay tuned. The adventure is just beginning. 🏕️

What a pleasure it has been! 😊🌱

Our launch party for OurThirdPlace was everything we could have hoped for and more! We truly appreciate everyone who came out to the event. Your presence was felt. The community conversations were very meaningful, honest, and genuine. The energy of the room carried such engagement and enthusiasm to continue growing an inclusive community. We learned so much with our activity, trivia with a twist. Also, we truly got to know each other with our fun social activities. If you were not able to come, don't fret, this is only the beginning with many more adventures coming to flourish. As we continue to grow these connections, we hope to see you soon! Thank you for being you 🙂
