Hi Gang

Would like to start by thanking everyone that came out to support the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation on Saturday Night. The night when a little longer than expected, due to the much longer than desirable break to watch the Mayweather fight, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was great to see CRAZY S**T POKER Players sweep the prize money with Nick Cea, John Dantas, Kevin McIllveen, Karl Furto and John Malnar finishing 2nd - 6th repectively. A big Congrats to Bob McAllister for finishing in 1st place, making him the BACK TO BACK winner of the event!

Next up, CRAZY S**T POKER goes to the Old West, hosting a tournament to support the Royals Booster Club at Docville in Newcastle on Saturday May 9th. For those who have never seem Docville, it is an old west town set-up, used in movie/tv/magazine shoots. We are playing in "The Barn", which is an old west style Saloon. Should be interesting! Ticket are $50, 5:30pm start, regular format.

We have just firmed up some details on this year's Men's Night Out - Poker Event to support the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.

The event will be held at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park again this year. They were a fantastic host last year with a phenomenal facility. The event will be catered again - Roast Beef Dinner with all the trimmings (Please let us know when you purchase your dinner if you have any dietary concerns that need to be addressed).

A few new things for this year:

***Mayweather vs Pacquiao - I'm sure most of you know May 2nd is also the big fight. Don't worry those, you won't miss it! We will be showing the fight on multiple HD screens at the event. We will be taking a special break from poker so you don't miss the opening bell for a minimum of 15 mins.
***Ride Home Service - I know last year getting home was an issue for some players due to distance. This year they will be offering a shuttle service for $5 that will drop you off at either the Walmart in Bowmanville of the Walmart at the north end in Oshawa. That will make for a short cab ride home, of a shorter distance for someone to pick you up. The facility has 24hr security, so vehicles will be fine there over night.

I think the folks at the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation may have a few more things up their sleeve to make this event even more memorable.

Those who attended last year can tell you this is the best event of the year for CRAZY S**T POKER so don't miss out.

Since the event is catered, tickets should be purchased in advance either in person at the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation office - 47 Liberty St S in Bowmanville or by phone with a credit card by callling 905 623-3331 ext 1881. Al and I also have tickets for advance sales, so contact me if you want to meet up in Oshawa for an advance ticket - cash only with us.

Unfortunately, I've just been informed that the Whitby Iroquois U15 Boys have had to postpone their tournament originally scheduled for this Saturday, March 7th.

There will be no CRAZY S**T POKER event this weekend.

The Whitby Iroquois U15 Boys tournament will now be held on April 18th.

The next CRAZY S**T POKER event will be on April 11th. It is a VERY important event in support of my daughter's soccer team, the Oshawa Turul Cyclones. I would personally appreciate as many CRAZY S**T POKER Players as possible coming out to this event. I will send out an other email with the details closer to the event.

Hi Everyone

Thank you to those who attend our event this past Saturday in support of Clarington Flames Hockey. We had a good turn out and everyone had a great time.

This weekend, Event #4 is in support of the Whitby Iroquois U15 Boys. The tournament will be held at the Northern Portugal Cultural Centre on Albany St in Oshawa (Behind The Corral). Start time is 5:30pm (doors at 4:30). $50 entry fee gets you dinner. Unlimited half & full rebuys until dinner, $25 add-on at the dinner break. If you are interested in play, let me know and we will have a ticket saved for you at the door.
