A special thanks from President Larry Detlor for your support of this years Stirling Fair!

"The 167th Stirling Agricultural Fair is in the books. I would like to thank all of our sponsors, board members, and volunteers who make this fair happen year after year. We are very lucky to have such a great team that works tirelessly for months before and after the fair to make the event such a success.

I would also like to thank all of the community members and people who travel from afar each year to enjoy our fair. Without your support, we couldn't continue to have a small-town fair.

Thanks also goes out to Albion Amusements for the great selection of rides and games for all ages to enjoy.

Congratulations to our student bursary winners Faith Bouma and Heidi McFarland!

Faith and Heidi are pursuing a post-secondary school in an agricultural related field. Stirling Agricultural Society President Larry Detlor presented them with their award.

We send our best wishes to both recipients as they pursue their post-secondary education!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE BRETT KISSEL CONCERT!

We have received a number of inquires regarding the concert and are hoping this post will help clear a few things up. Please read!

We understand that the line to get into the concert last year was long and many people were waiting for an extended period to get in. To rectify this and relieve these pressures we will have additional gates/ entries into the concert area. This will allow more people to enter at a time and hopefully speed up the process.

However, we are asking for your cooperation as well to help everything go smoothly! Please leave backpacks, coolers, and large bags at home. They are not permitted in the concert area. If you require a backpack or bag for medically necessary equipment, an exception will be made.

Be prepared to show ID at the concert gate to keep the line moving efficiently.

There are no in and out privileges from the concert area. Just as you would expect at any other concert venue, the rules here are the same. Should you decide to leave at any point, there is no re-entry.

There is some bleacher seating but the majority of the area is standing room. You are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs if you wish.

If you do not have an advance ticket you can pay the gate admission price of $60.00 per person. All ages require a ticket for the concert. Gate admission is CASH ONLY so please come prepared. Gate admission is only available while occupancy allows. The gates open at 4PM.

Drink tickets will be sold for $7.00 each or 3 for $20.00. They are also CASH ONLY.

Another great demonstration being offered on Saturday, August 14th at the Fair. Check out Quinte Twirlers Square Dancing demonstration in the homecraft area at the arena.

They will be there from 2 - 3PM with their dancing shoes on!
