North Shore Writers Festival

North Shore Writers Festival Where readers and writers meet. A FREE celebration of Canadian authors and writers every April.

10/15/2025

Every young person deserves the chance to feel like they belong, are recognized, and that they matter. Celebrated Indigenous voices from across Turtle Island speak directly to young people in this joyous and inspiring anthology of letters and art.

Stephanie Sinclair, co-editor of You Were Made for This World, is joined on-stage by esteemed contributors David A. Robertson and katherena vermette. Together, they’ll celebrate the potential of youth, share a sense of pride in tradition and personal teachings, and encourage young people to honour who they are and what they dream of.
