KAEMAC Events, in collaboration with Port Sidney Marina, proudly presents the return of Dockside Nights! ⚓️☀️

And what a way to open the season.

Stephanie Greaves brought every bit of the magic to the dock, from serenading a little girl across the water with songs from Frozen, to playing the anniversary song that had an elderly couple sharing a slow dance, to getting downright dockside funky with a family visiting and staying at Port Sidney Marina.

It was everything summer evenings should be: sunshine, boats, ocean views, music, laughter, and moments that remind us why community matters.

If tonight was any indication, Friday nights at Port Sidney Marina are going to be the place to be.

Join us next Friday at Port Sidney Marina from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM featuring Luke Lambard.

The first 50 guests will receive a free glass of Prosecco in celebration of the return of Dockside Nights.

Our Market Managers met with the Town of Sidney and all the key stakeholders helping bring the Sidney Street Market to life.

The team is ready for the fun, the details, the creative and controlled chaos, and of course… the donuts.

Big thanks to Sidney Bakery on Beacon Avenue for helping us win hearts and fuel the final prep.

Things are getting real, Sidney. We’re here for it. 💛

☀️⚽ It’s a beautiful day in downtown Victoria for the Canada Celebrates FIFA World Cup 2026™ Watch Party ⚽

Produced by Salt XC, this exciting event is now underway at the BC Legislature, and we’re proud to be supporting the action here on the ground in Victoria.

After a rainy weekend and some touch-and-go weather during setup, it’s pretty amazing to see the sun out, the music going, and the crowd gathering on Belleville.

Huge thanks to our hard-working crews, volunteers, and staff for helping bring it all together.

Come on down, bring the kids, and join the fun.

⚽ It’s tomorrow, Victoria ⚽

Crews have been on site getting everything ready for the Canada Celebrates FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch party, and the excitement is building fast.

A huge thank you to all of the hard-working crew and volunteers who kept things moving on Sunday, and are putting in more hours today - even with more than a little rain. Nothing is slowing this momentum down.

Kaemac is thrilled to be supporting event producers Salt XC on this exciting project as it all comes to life on the BC Legislature grounds.

We came across a past conversation about vendor fees and wanted to share a bit of context about how the Sidney Street Market operates today.

🌿 Did You Know? | Sidney Street Market

• Kaemac Event Services took over production of the market in 2024
• Vendor participation is first come, first served each season
• Vendor fees were lowered in 2024
• Fees were lowered again in 2025
• In 2025, we absorbed increases related to public works and safety while keeping fees reduced
• In 2026, there has been a slight fee increase due to significant rising safety and security costs

Behind the scenes, there is a full team working to bring the market to life each week.

• We provide employment for approximately 10 part-time staff each market day
• While the market runs from 5:30 to 8:30pm, crews are on site for hours before and after for setup and takedown
• Vendors are primarily local to Sidney, Victoria, and surrounding areas, consistent with markets of this scale

We are also proud to support local arts, culture, and family-friendly community experiences.

• We hire and pay our regular musicians
• We provide busking opportunities for emerging performers, with the ability to receive tips
• We provide free face painting and crafts at the market to help create an inclusive destination that families can enjoy together

The Sidney Street Market is built to support local businesses, create community connection, and deliver a safe, vibrant experience for everyone who attends.

We are always happy to answer questions and appreciate the ongoing interest and support from our community.

This free, one-day, family-friendly event will transform the Legislature grounds into a vibrant football hub where fans can gather, connect, and feel the energy building toward the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
