As I reflect on 2024 I feel so fortunate to have met so many beautiful couples. Planning usually took place over two or three video chats. During this time I got to know what was important for each couple to have incorporated in the ceremony of their dreams. Lots of pets popped up on the screen, a few kiddos, and always so much love.

By the time we met, we felt comfortable together and dare I say ‘safe’ that all the plans were in motion and the vision of their ceremony was now a reality. The visions were varied- simple secret elopements, small gatherings of family and friends, back yards, family farms, heritage buildings and bigger venues. The ceremony uniquely theirs, just as their love.

As I bid goodbye to this past year I look forward to 2025, meeting new couples, hearing their love stories and honouring their vision of the perfect wedding ceremony.
