There’s something different about photographing a ceremony at Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. The scale of it. The history in the walls. The way the light settles in the middle of the aisle.

But what stayed with me wasn’t the architecture. It was the way he laughed during the vows. The way she squeezed his hand when the room went quiet. The way her dad held her just a little longer than expected. That’s what I remember when I look back at this day.
