Not every night feels safe.
Some nights feel heavy, restless, loud, or overwhelming.

That’s why it’s important to create small rituals that help the mind and body soften a little before bed.

A comforting scent.
A cozy blanket.
A warm drink.
A familiar show playing quietly in the background.

Small moments that remind the nervous system:
you are safe here.

Healing doesn’t always begin with huge changes. Sometimes it begins by creating a space that feels gentle enough to exhale in.

Créer un espace sécurisant pour soi peut devenir une forme de soin. 🤍

For a long time, I thought struggling in silence meant I had to “handle it” on my own.

But healing often begins in smaller, gentler ways:
talking to someone you trust, finding the right support, resting, and remembering that fear does not define who you are.

Postpartum OCD is more common than many people realize — and it is treatable. 🤍

If you needed this reminder today:
you are not alone.
There is hope.

Parfois, les pensées les plus effrayantes ne reflètent pas qui nous sommes. 🌙

06/01/2026

For a long time, I thought fear meant something.

I thought the anxiety, panic, and intensity of the thoughts meant they were important… or true.

What I didn’t realize was that OCD can weaponize fear.

Intrusive thoughts can feel convincing precisely because they target what feels disturbing, unacceptable, or emotionally threatening to you.

But fear is not proof.
And OCD is not your intuition speaking.

If your OCD themes feel disturbing, scary, violent, sexual, blasphemous, or completely against who you are… you are not alone.

OCD attacks what feels emotionally important, frightening, or unacceptable to you.
The content of the thought is not a reflection of your character, intentions, or desires.

People with OCD can experience themes involving:
• harm
• religion or spirituality
• contamination or evil
• losing control or “going crazy”
• taboo or sexual thoughts

The theme is not the problem.
The OCD cycle is.

Vous n’êtes pas seul(e). 🤍

You are not dangerous.
You are not secretly “bad.”
And you are not alone in this experience.

One of the hardest parts of OCD is that the thoughts can feel deeply personal, terrifying, or meaningful.

But OCD does not choose themes randomly.
It targets what feels important to you.
Your values.
Your fears.
Your sense of safety.

The louder the fear becomes, the more your brain treats the thought like danger.

But intrusive thoughts are not intuition.
They are not warnings.
And they are not a reflection of who you are.

Intrusive thoughts are a glitch in the alarm system — not a message about your character.

POV: you’re postpartum and it’s nighttime.
The house gets quiet, but your mind does not.

The thoughts loop.
The fear grows.
And you start wondering why your own mind feels so unsafe.

Safe Night was created for those moments.

Not to “fix” you.
Not to make the thoughts disappear.
But to help you feel a little more grounded while the wave passes.

For the nights that feel painful.
For the nights you feel alone with your thoughts.
For the moments you need reminding that you are still safe.

You do not need to survive the night alone. 🌙

Parce que même dans les nuits les plus lourdes, vous méritez de vous sentir en sécurité.

Safe Night — coming soon.

When panic, intrusive thoughts, or OCD spirals take over, the goal is not to “prove” the thought wrong.

The goal is to help your nervous system feel safe again.

In those moments, try to come back to your body gently:
• breathe slowly
• ground yourself in your environment
• stop searching for certainty
• comfort your body instead of feeding the fear

Warm blankets.
Tea.
Essential oils.
A shower.
Fresh air.
Prayer.
Stillness.

Small rituals can help signal safety to an overwhelmed nervous system.

You do not need to solve the thought tonight.
You only need to support yourself through the wave. 🤍

If your anxiety, intrusive thoughts, panic, or “losing touch with reality” feelings get worse at night… you are not alone.

Many women experience what people often call the “sundown scaries” postpartum.

When evening comes, exhaustion sets in.
The house gets quieter.
Distractions fade.
And an overwhelmed nervous system suddenly gets very loud.

That does NOT mean you are dangerous.
It does NOT mean you are losing your mind.
And it does NOT mean these thoughts are true.

Your body is tired.
Your nervous system is overloaded.
Your brain is searching for safety.

This is a wave.
Waves pass. 🤍

One of the cruelest parts of OCD is that it attacks the things that matter to you most.

It can make loving mothers fear they are dangerous.
It can make kind people fear they are evil.
It can make spiritual people fear they are “possessed.”
It can make safe people feel unsafe in their own minds.

Intrusive thoughts are not intentions.
They are not desires.
And they are not your identity.

They are symptoms of a terrified nervous system searching for certainty and safety.

You are not your thoughts.
And you are not alone.
Vous n’êtes pas seule. 🤍

There was a time I truly believed I was losing myself.

Postpartum anxiety, intrusive thoughts, panic, derealization, OCD… the kind of thoughts and feelings that make you afraid to even say them out loud.

I created Di Marzio Experience for the women quietly carrying that fear.

The women researching their symptoms in the dead of the night.
The women terrified by their own thoughts.
The women trying so hard to feel safe in their minds again.

This space is for nervous system support, grounding rituals, education, softness, and healing — through both lived experience and gentle wellness tools that helped me find calm again.

You are not broken.
You are not dangerous.
And you are not alone. 🤍
