Setting up the deco, and testing the aurora borealis lighting for the stage on Thursday night. NEON AURA's concept for the first edition of Chillout CampOut was to create an intimate space using a variety of ethnic fabrics, glowing geometries, and starry, auroral lighting recalling quiet nights of observing the heavens. It was a collective campout to remember, full of warmth, friends, campfire and beautiful sonic memories.

Our creation for Lucioles Festival 2025: the theme was 'transformation'. Using a combination of reflective, iridescent and fluorescent fabrics, we created a magical space for awe and wonder to transpire.

For Lucioles Festival 2024, our design scheme was based around the concept of “Soundflowers” — the idea of sound manifesting and “blooming” into harmonious patterns, and transforming one’s perception of three-dimensional space. The project merges art, architecture and mathematics, and how perception can be altered by sacred geometries, modularity and the invisible spectra of light (ultraviolet). The deco consists of a 20-foot-wide canopy, a massive braided centre pole, as well as our illustrated panels and circular hoop deco pieces decorating the stage.

Pour le festival Lucioles 2024, notre projet de design s'est basé sur le concept de « Soundflowers » — l'idée que le son se manifeste et « s'épanouit » en motifs harmonieux et transforme la perception de l'espace tridimensionnel. Le projet fusionne l'art, l'architecture et les mathématiques, et la façon dont la perception peut être altérée par les géométries sacrées, la modularité et les spectres invisibles de la lumière (ultraviolets). La décoration se compose d’une canopie de 20 pieds de large, d'un énorme poteau central tressé, ainsi que de nos panneaux illustrés et de pièces décoratives en cerceau circulaire décorant la scène.
