Hey friends,
I don’t remember ever properly introducing myself here, so I figured now’s a good time especially before wedding season kicks into full gear.
My name is Jayson, a wedding videographer and the founder of Project316, based right on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan. I’m a proud husband and dad of four amazing kids. 🧑🧑🧒🧒I’ve been filming weddings since 2018, and I’m incredibly blessed to call this my full-time job.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the talented people who help me shoot multiple weddings during such a short, fast-paced season. I’m forever grateful for them.
My filming style is simple, discreet, and timeless. My goal is for you to watch your wedding film years from now and still feel like it happened just yesterday. We don’t show up with massive gear or flashy setups. We film discreetly so we can capture the most genuine, unscripted moments of your day.
A bit about me outside of weddings:
🎸 I’m passionate about music and love playing the guitar. You’ll often find me playing at church on Sundays.
👨👧👦 When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my kids who definitely keep life fun and full.😅
📸 Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with not just weddings, but the friendships I’ve built and the talented photographers I’ve had the chance to collaborate with.
This year, I’m hoping to show up more here, share more of what we’re working on, connect more, and keep learning.
Someday I’d love to travel outside 🇨🇦 to film weddings. When the time’s right, I’m all in.
Thank you for being here. For your bookings, your referrals, and your kind reviews,I’m truly grateful for each of you.
Jayson

Huge thanks to 📷 and for snapping these behind-the-scenes shots of me in action last year.🙌🏽 I’m usually solo on wedding days, so it’s rare I end up on the other side of the camera.
