The energy of the new year is coming in strong 💚

We can't wait to share this year's events!

The second annual Wild Women Campout at the pond is a GO! Get out with the girls for fun in the sun. Good friends, rad workshops like foraging for fireweed tea with Healing Hills Herbals , and pondside evening gongbath with Hart & Soul Essentials

As well, this year we are planning a solstice campout with Renewal energy and possibly a fall co-ed campout 🤙

We’re so excited to share that Wild Women Campout is returning to the pond for 2026!

We’ve officially secured the space for the long weekend in August, and we can’t wait to gather there again.

If you’re feeling the call to reconnect with nature, community, and yourself, stay tuned. Ticket sales will be announced soon.

Mandy.Is.Creative (yours truly, Journey Woman Wild Craft) will be a vendor at the first ever Sip n Shop handmade market in Leslieville this Friday evening 🍸

In true ADHD fashion (actually cPTSD, but we do the same s**t) I have stuff ALL over the place, trying to get my creations in order, appropriately labeled, etc. My labels are basic, but I can assure you that the contents are anything but! Also, I'm a rustic creative, not a techie 😆 There may be handwriting involved in the details

This year, I have made an extra large batch of Mando's Magical Seasoning, a local favorite made with mushrooms 🍄 wild plants 🌿and of course love. Also, the always-requested-at-Christmas Mando's Rub, made GF without additives or anti-caking agents. *These are both available in bigger sizes now that I've learned how quickly they get used on everything once you're hooked 😉

New this year: a few things!

I'm most excited about my Wild Steak Spice 🥳 It's so good, and like the Magical Seasoning, much of the ingredients were harvested locally, including at our gathering place 🙌 Also, the Boreal Bath Salts (now that I have a tub I can soak in!) are extra special

It is with great sadness that we recently lost a dear friend, Tasha Krekoski.

Before the campout weekend, I knew Tasha through work. I enjoyed chatting with her, a curious person like myself. I was pretty excited that she wanted to join us for the weekend, and her friend was going to try to make it as well.

She pulled up in a big motor home, and we got it parked, leveled, and all set up for the weekend.

Tasha seemed to really enjoy herself. In our guest book she wrote:
" I loved the space, food and people. I enjoyed sampling the syrups and salts. I would have loved morning yoga. The sound bath was great! Janaia from Grounded and Rooted would be a great fit."

We will see what we can do! The connections and friendships that came together that weekend were so beautiful. I thought I would share some photos with Tasha enjoying her retreat, sharing it with her friend, and making new connections.

I went back to this space the other day, the first time since Tasha passed, appreciating the time with her, and getting to know her on a more personal level. I looked at the space where her motor home sat. I remembered her driving away, waving, and smiling her big beautiful smile 💚 She will certainly be missed by many
