It’s TIME!

As the PGA Tour Americas descends upon Ambassador Golf Club, here’s what you need to know starting Monday August 4 and running through Sunday August 11:

▪️Course is closed for public green fees
▪️Driving Range is closed to public
▪️Public parking in designated lots only
▪️Daily passes (starting Thursday) available at gate ($10)
▪️Weekly passes available at gate or in Pro Shop in advance ($20)

SCHEDULE
Monday: Practice Rounds/JR Pro Am 4:30pm
Tuesday: Practice Rounds
Wednesday: Pro Am Tournament

July 28th is National Thank A Golf Pro Day, an initiative by the PGA of Canada to recognize and appreciate golf professionals.

This day encourages golfers to express gratitude for the contributions of golf pros, including teaching, coaching, and promoting the sport.

Today, we celebrate our Director of Golf/CPGA Professional, Adam Wagner, for all that he does for the Club, Staff and Sport.

Tick populations are increasing in Ontario due to milder winters being experienced.

Tick season is typically most active during the warmer months, and black legged ticks can be encountered anywhere in Ontario if the habitat is suitable - such as wooded, brushy or grassy areas - which means golf courses are a prime target!

How to Protect Yourself:
- Wear protective clothing
- Check for ticks regularly and remove promptly if found
- Use insect repellent specific to ticks
