Hubby and I learning to sew: Episode 7

Three weeks ago we didn’t know how to sew. Now we’re almost done our first 100 scrunchies and genuinely having the best time sitting side by side crafting cozy little things together 🥹

Honestly this might be one of my favorite little eras of our marriage so far.

Now be honest… do we fully commit and get custom tags made to sew into them?? HELP 😭

It’s finally happening.

We’re starting to release some of our Nostalgia Nookified merch and upcycled pieces to help fund our biggest dream yet… turning our ambulance into a cozy mobile movie theater.

Real talk, the ambulance decided to be dramatic and blew a serpentine belt on the drive home, so this is us doing what collectors do best. Creating, restoring, and bringing nostalgia back to life.

These pieces are a mix of upcycled finds, 3D printed nostalgia, and little love letters to physical media culture. If you’re someone who still hunts thrift shelves, rewinds tapes, and believes movies feel better when you can hold them, you’re our people.

My husband has been in full Christmas workshop mode and he made these adorable handcrafted wooden truck shelves. They’re perfect for holiday décor, VHS displays, mini trees, candles, or gifting.

Each truck is handmade, painted or stained by hand, and comes with custom laser-engraved door signs and license plates.
