Come on down North Shore let's clean up the streets next weekend let's do our part...

The Brock Community Cleanup is going to be so amazing this year! Who knew when I took that fateful walk down Windbreak St. 10 years ago and decided to do something about the garbage I saw in the neighbourhood I had no idea it would be the movement it is a decade later.

Join Us for the 105th Falkland Stampede Celebration! 🎉🐎

What started as a simple community picnic in 1919 to celebrate the end of the war has grown into one of B.C.’s most legendary rodeos—the The Falkland Stampede (Falkland BC)! Over the decades, this event has seen thrilling rodeo action, parades, dances, and even the crowning of queens. From its early days with daring cowboys and bucking broncos to becoming a top-tier professional rodeo in 1969, the Falkland Stampede continues to be a beloved tradition, drawing thousands of spectators every year.

This year, as we mark the 105th celebration, we’re bringing even more fun for the whole family! Fun Zone Rentals will be on-site to add excitement for the little ones, making sure there’s something for everyone. Whether you come for the rodeo action, the history, or just a weekend of unforgettable fun, you won’t want to miss this incredible event. We will be on-site from 11am-4pm may long weekend. We’re reaching out to our amazing communities to see if any young teenagers to adults would like to join us in supervising various events this year that Fun Zone Rentals puts on for city-wide celebrations! We are of course willing to compensate any volunteer and or donate to an organization or charity or group!!

Volunteer experience is highly beneficial for several reasons:

• Skill Development
• Resume Building
• Personal Growth
• Community Impact

Overall, volunteer experience enriches both personal and professional life, making it a rewarding pursuit. 🎉
