The start of something beautiful.

wrote a lovely caption on her post highlighting Racheal & Anthony’s fall wedding and it had me thinking about the start of my flower journey and all the amazing couples along the way who took a chance on me and my dream.

I am forever grateful that I have been able to witness so many new beginnings.

And even better yet, with the added bonus of my florals framing the first days of your new lives together!

Oh hi everyone!

It has been a while so here are a few fun facts about me, Ashley, the wild soul behind Wildflora + Co:

1. I am a momma to the sweetest 6 year old kiddo, 2 year old Aussie Sheppard, and 12 year old unidentified fluff ball (aka. House cat 🐱)

2. I spent 6 years in Toronto studying to chase my dream of becoming a Child Life Specialist. I realized after graduating that this career path was no longer aligning with what I wanted in life so I pivoted to something that has always made me happy, floristry!

3. As a child of divorced parents, I grew up as both the country mouse and city mouse. Driving tractors one week and playing “manhunt” with the neighbourhood kids the next week. It often feels like I lived two very different childhoods which I think has given me an interesting perspective in my adult life.

4. I love to dance! 💃 Ive trained in many different styles but most recently with my girlies who I miss so much!

5. My favourite flowers are dahlias and poppies (although it changes all the time!)! 🌸
