wedding season may slow down, but that doesn’t mean the celebrating has to.

we have so much more than wedding rentals, and our inventory can be used all throughout the fall + winter months in muskoka.

hosting thanksgiving? need extra tables and chairs?

planning a christmas dinner? we have place settings, cutlery + glassware.

throwing a holiday party? cocktail tables, linens + more.

hosting a winter celebration? we can help with that too.

instead of buying things you’ll only use once, rent what you need and let us take care of the rest.

fall + winter bookings are now open

muskoka magic, but make it an island wedding.

our stunning tent setup on prestigious old woman island, surrounded by everything that makes a muskoka wedding so special.

island weddings come with a few extra moving parts — boats, transportation, setup, timing, weather and a whole lot of logistics. but that’s where we come in.

behind the scenes, making it all happen seamlessly so you can simply enjoy your day.

Hello Muskoka!

Our season is still in full swing. We are still island hopping, navigating late night barge rides, putting in countless hours, installing countless tents, hanging many many feet of string lights, washing dishware, laying dancefloors and all of the fun stuff in between.

Our season is still far from over and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Clear top tent 🤝 September

There’s something about a September wedding.

The cooler evenings, the changing leaves, and that beautiful late-summer light make it one of the best times of year to get married.

A clear top tent lets you enjoy all of it. You still get the outdoor feel, natural light during the day, and a view of the sky once the sun goes down, while keeping everyone comfortable if the temperature drops or the weather changes.

September really is the best of both worlds, and a clear top tent makes the most of it.

Today marks a new chapter for Muskoka Event Services.

I'm excited to announce that we have officially purchased Special Occasion Tent Rentals in Orillia.

This one means a lot to me. Mike Osborne has been a mentor, friend, and ally since we first opened our doors almost 10 years ago. He was always someone I could call for advice, and I'm grateful for everything he's done for us over the years.

It's also fitting that this happens as we're heading into our 10th year in business. We started out in my parents' garage with a handful of equipment, and today we're operating from three locations. It's been a crazy ride with lots of ups and downs, but we wouldn't be here without our amazing staff, customers, friends, and family. And of course my wife Kara Morley and mother Theresa Morley I wouldnt be here without you two!

I want to wish Mike a well-deserved retirement. Thank you for trusting us to carry on the Special Occasions name and legacy. We're proud to be keeping the Osborne family and the current staff on board so customers will continue to see the same familiar faces they've trusted for years.

We're excited for what's ahead and hope to continue growing while raising the bar for events throughout Muskoka, Orillia, Simcoe County, and Central Ontario.

Here's to the next chapter!
