There’s something about a September wedding.

The cooler evenings, the changing leaves, and that beautiful late-summer light make it one of the best times of year to get married.

Today marks a new chapter for Muskoka Event Services.

I'm excited to announce that we have officially purchased Special Occasion Tent Rentals in Orillia.

This one means a lot to me. Mike Osborne has been a mentor, friend, and ally since we first opened our doors almost 10 years ago. He was always someone I could call for advice, and I'm grateful for everything he's done for us over the years.

It's also fitting that this happens as we're heading into our 10th year in business. We started out in my parents' garage with a handful of equipment, and today we're operating from three locations. It's been a crazy ride with lots of ups and downs, but we wouldn't be here without our amazing staff, customers, friends, and family. And of course my wife Kara Morley and mother Theresa Morley I wouldnt be here without you two!

I want to wish Mike a well-deserved retirement. Thank you for trusting us to carry on the Special Occasions name and legacy. We're proud to be keeping the Osborne family and the current staff on board so customers will continue to see the same familiar faces they've trusted for years.

We're excited for what's ahead and hope to continue growing while raising the bar for events throughout Muskoka, Orillia, Simcoe County, and Central Ontario.

Here's to the next chapter!
