By this time tomorrow, the Schells will be very married! Tonight there was a smudge ceremony before the dress rehearsal and I was gifted this beautiful coin by the bride's Metis elder. Truly an honour 💚 💍

As the first days of school begin, I support my former teaching colleagues and reflect on how much I have learned and grown over the past 2 years of my "retired" life chapter as a celebrant. Amazed still that I balanced BOTH worlds for TWO years before official retirement! 📚 💚 🍎

I'm there just under the surface, for you, and you will feel the sun too." ☀️ PS As teachers & staff prepare for their students, compassionate and support for all is appreciated.

The Love shared amongst Helen's (Sopkow) family was graciously extended to include me this past weekend in a simple Ksituan graveside service followed by a tour of the old Spirit River homestead and a Rycroft Ukrainian dinner. I feel blessed to have been asked to serve them. 🤍🕯️🕊️

Celebrating 20 years of friendship with iceberg ice and an evening Atlantic boat ride past the Cape Bauld lighthouse. Saw the Viking coastline from both sides today. 🌊
