Join us on Wednesday, July 1 at Shanawdithit Centennial Park for a free afternoon of live entertainment, family activities, community groups, food, and more!

GET READY FOR CANADA DAY! 🇨🇦🍁

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is putting on another fabulous Canada Day celebration! Expect live music, bouncy castles, face painting, and lots of fun for families in our wonderful little town.

A few reminders for parents joining our face painting line tomorrow:

☀️ Wear sunscreen! If the sun is shining, you'll likely be waiting in it.

💧 Bring water. The lineup can be long, and staying hydrated is important, especially on a warm day.

🎨 About the lineup: The line doesn't really get shorter until it's officially closed. 30-40 minutes before the event ends at 4:00 p.m, our line manager will close the line and hand out tickets to every child already waiting. In my 10 years of face painting, this has been the fairest way to make sure everyone in line gets painted. Unfortunately, if you arrive after the line has closed, we won't be able to add anyone else. We kindly ask that you don't approach our artists or line manager to negotiate🤭 We are keeping it fair for everyone who waited that day. By then we're pretty tired too!

Most importantly, have an amazing Canada Day! Whether you're visiting us for face painting, bouncing in the castles, enjoying the music, or simply running around the field with your family, take a moment to appreciate all the hard work that goes into making this celebration possible. We're lucky to have a town that puts so much effort into creating memorable community events.
