More than just a space: Bringing the community together at the Fredericton Capital Exhibit Center
Community spaces are the cornerstone of togetherness, engagement and help everyone feel included. A venue that has been here for 199 years (woah!) is not only integral to New Brunswick history but has actively shaped it. At Chatpate, we are indescribably grateful to the The New Brunswick Provincial Exhibition for being a part of our journey and providing us a space for our events.
Our first partnership with them was for Freddy Garba Night and with just that one event, we were sold! We owe them our successes as they encouraged us to mold the space to our needs and worked with us to tackle any issues we faced. The space is absolutely massive but what worked for us was the ability to partition it as we needed - whether that be adding a stage, an indoor food service, or a space to serve prashad - the flexibility of NBEX really helped us bring our vision to life and give a sprinkle of uniqueness to each event.
Their ever so helpful staff: Charlotte, Darlene, and Rick have been a great inspiration in guiding us with their extensive experience. We've made some wonderful memories in the space and we look forward to making even more!
You'll definitely see us hosting amazing events at the Capital Exhibit Center this year, but please check out their yearly calendar because they are always putting on events in the summer! https://nbex.ca/whats-new/
