It has been quite the year 💌

I posted less on social media, I marketed myself less, however I had more clients than past years. How come? BECAUSE OF YOU ♥️♥️

Thank you to all my past and current clients spreading the word of this little and mighty small business 🤗 I could not be more grateful.

I am also proud to say that this year has been a year of growth in terms of sourcing. NOT ONCE did I purchase something international for an order and *most* items were sourced from British Columbia or Alberta.

Thanks for sticking by me in this year of transition. Keeping things local and supporting the Canadian economy is a priority for me and I wanted to do better 🇨🇦

FOUR 🎈

On this day four years ago was the due date of our sweet little baby. The baby we will always love. The baby we always hold in our hearts. The baby I still give myself the grace to weep for every now and again.

Time has helped me live my new normal of living without this baby, but I truly treasure everything about them. They taught me a love I never knew existed.

Every time I see a pink peony, I take a little moment. A moment of motherly love and appreciation for the life I once carried. I remember that this baby is part of our family because they shaped my husband and I into the people and parents we are today.

Happy birthday 🎈I love you.

✨VELLUM OVERLAY✨

/ / asked me to be part of their shoot and have me a colour pallet and creative freedom ♥️ I finally tried these vellum overlays with finishing embellishments and I truly love how they turned out! I specifically love the bride and groom place cards.

This.is.nine 🍾♥️

Today we’ve been married for NINE years already! I’ve said a few times lately that I don’t feel old enough to be married for nine years, but then I remember we were so blessed to meet each other so early in life! We’ve changed together through the good and the bad moments and have built a foundation so strong. We have lived in 5 different homes, we moved across the country, experienced so much of the world and God’s creation, welcomed two sweet and sassy little boys into our family, and been through countless ups and downs.

Although there’s been so many changes, Kyle still opens the door for me, brings me flowers on random days throughout the year (never anniversaries, Valentine’s, etc cause it’s too “predictable”), and asks me out on dates…even just at home ones over the last couple years.

I cherish all we have been blessed with and I can’t wait to collect more moments and memories together over the next 100+ years!
