A few weeks ago our sheep were sheered for the first time! We are so happy with the quality of the wool. The next steps are to start washing and processing the wool which we plan to do all in house!

You’ve heard it here first folks! BTV is doing sunflowers! About 50,000 of them to be exact! This is a jar of about 15,000 seeds and we will be doing succession planting to have an extended blooming period. Can’t wait to see this field come to life!

This is whisper, she is one of our 2 girl sheep. She can be a little shy but taking a few minutes to sit with her she really comes out of her shell!

Sometimes your lavender needs some extra attention. There are 3 main reasons your lavender might be struggling.

1) You might be over watering your lavender. Lavender doesn’t do well when its roots are wet for long periods of time. Having well draining soil can also help with this!

2) Your lavender might not be getting enough sun. Lavender needs full sun, so 9 hours of sun or more!

3) Your lavender might be root bound. This happens when your lavender is in too small of a pot for the size of the plant. Repotting and breaking up some of the roots if they are packed in will help it!
