That’s that! Raising almost exactly $990 in cash alone, a grand total of $1199.70 of confirmed donations has been donated to and , and it’s all thanks to you! We rounded up to $500 cash for each, bringing the total to $1209.70!
It was such an honour to be able to do this with you all, and even more so to hear from the very people these foundations have helped. I want to express my deepest thanks to FNS and KHP for working with me on this, trusting me to wear their logos on my bag and of course, for the work they do.
To be pragmatic, I could have done better. This was my first time doing anything like this and I learned a lot. Its tough to balance wanting to raise funds but not pressuring people into donating. At the end of the day, I want my Spider-Man to be accessible with no pay barrier. I don’t want parents to usher their kids away because they don’t have spare change, but I want to raise funds. I’m still learning how to balance that, and I want to express another big thank you to for being way better at that than I am. My most successful days were with you (in and out of the suit)
So what’s next? We do it again next year. I’ll announce later who the charities are, but I implore you to not wait for me to make any donations. You can be the difference.
