We hope you’re getting excited for Murder or Bust because it’s happening this weekend! You have tickets for Night 1 – Friday, March 27, 2026 // Night 2 – Saturday, March 28, 2026
Below are some quick notes for the day.
Location
- Crossfield & District Community Centre

Doors
- Doors open at 5:45 pm
Show
- The show starts at 6:30 pm
- It is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours from start of the show to wrap-up
- There is no assigned seating at your table. You get to choose your spot at the table upon arrival – you purchased a ticket at the table, not a specific spot.
Order of events
- Doors open. Guests mingle, find their seats, and get drinks before the show.

Dinner & dessert
A huge shout out to Tane’s Catering who is making the meal again this year. You’ll be drooling over the below (almost everything is Gluten Free. GF desserts will be labelled & off to the side). Meal is served buffet style.
- AAA Roast Beef
- Honey BBQ Chicken
- Roasted Baby Potatoes (sour cream & chives on side)
- Three Hills Colony Carrots with Brown Sugar & Dill Glaze
- Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad with Grapes
- Dill Pickle Salad
- Strawberry & Spinach Salad with Maple Balsamic
- Assortment of Homemade Desserts
- Coffee & Tea
Drinks
- Drinks are available for purchase at the bar.
o Drinks are available for purchase prior to the show start, at dinner, at dessert, and after the show. No sales during the performance (Acts 1, 2, & 3)
- You can pay CASH or CARD (a Square is on site)
- Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic options available
o Alcoholic: $7.00 per drink ticket or 3 tickets for $20.00
o Non-Alcoholic: $5.00 per ticket
- Pop, Juice, Water, and Ice are included in your ticket price
Added Bonuses
- Dress up in your best Western Attire (Hillbilly, Skijorn, Rodeo Queen/King, Rodeo Clown, Movie Set Extra, etc.) This is not required but it is encouraged.
- This is an Adults Only (18+ event) – No Minors will be admitted
- We will have an ACTS style Photo Booth setup with props for you to take pictures at. We provide the props, you provide the camera (phone), photographer, and the subjects.
Extra tidbits
- This is an original play by the Artists of Crossfield Theatre Society (ACTS). The cast and crew wrote, act, and plan every part of the production. It’s super cool, eh?
- A portion of the proceeds go to local art projects, charities, groups, & initiatives. This year this includes: W.G. Murdoch High School (Grads & Scholarships), Tails to Tell, Crossfield & Madden Food Bank, Crossfield Wellness Network, Crossfield Elks #416, and Airdrie 4-H Beef & Sheep Club.

ACTS is a local adult theatre group who writes, directs, and performs one original production per year. The performance is the last Friday and Saturday of March (may be the first weekend in April depending on where Easter falls).
