This lovely couple from Egypt eloped today via my living room. In Egyptian culture when a couple are engaged, they wear their rings on their right hands. During the wedding ceremony they move the rings to their right hands and the rings become their wedding rings. As we stand at the threshold of a brand new year, I thank all the couples and families I had the honour of serving in 2024. Eleven wonderful couples crossed the threshold into married life. One lovely couple celebrated their enduring, 30 year Love story in a Renewal of Vows. And five families remembered loved ones in ceremonies of remembrance. Thank you to each and everyone of you who trusted me to create unique and personalized ceremonies that celebrated each Love Story and each Life Story. May 2025 be a year of blessings, joy, prosperity and good health for all! My heart is truly full.

Many people are aware that I am a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, and that I create and perform many weddings. Another aspect of my practice is to create and perform ceremonies that memorialize and celebrate the lives of loved ones. Ceremonies of remembrance are an important part of the life-cycle. Gathering together with family and friends to talk about and remember loved ones who have passed is so important and needed. I am honoured whenever I am asked to be a part of such a gathering, supporting families as their cycle of grief begins. Blessing to all.
