We’re excited to announce that Purple Plate Cuisine and Tavola Culinary have joined forces to bring an extensive range of Prepared Meals—previously available only in Toronto—to Simcoe County, Dufferin, Wellington, Durham, and Muskoka districts & counties.

Well known in Toronto for its uncompromising quality and chef-driven approach, the Tavola brand has built a strong reputation among discerning retailers and food lovers alike. Now, that same standard of excellence is available to customers across cottage country and beyond.

From August 1st, we’ll be meeting with local grocery, retail, and hospitality partners looking to offer their customers the very best in high-quality, chef-prepared convenience foods.

Seeking a local Bakery in the Collingwood area

Purple Plate Cuisine is looking for a local bakery to produce some innovative new products for our private label! We’ve designed and tested these craveable creations with an audience of 100 people and the feedback has been fantastic!

We need a bakery that’s passionate about high quality, delicious baked goods, that can work with us to bring these products to life locally.

On Sunday, we shared 120 complimentary samples of our Ready Meals at Side Launch Brewery—thank you to everyone who stopped by to try them and share your feedback! It was wonderful to see familiar faces and friends come out in support.

We served two delicious lasagnas, Mac & Cheese, Chicken Enchiladas, and Eggplant Parmigiana. Across the board, people loved the quality of our food and connected with the story behind our brand.

As a proudly Canadian company, we believe in supporting our own. We source ingredients from Ontario whenever possible, employ talented Canadian chefs, and craft our meals in a real kitchen—not a factory. Every dish we make reflects the care, passion, and high standards that define Canadian food. Thanks to the hard work of my team, the Purple Plate Meals portal has been rebuilt, making it easier for guests to review the selection before placing an order. A big thank-you to everyone who shared feedback on the necessary improvements!

We’re excited to announce that distribution has now been extended to residents of Collingwood and surrounding areas. Meals can be delivered to your home or collected from two convenient locations—simply follow the instructions on our website to choose your preferred option.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback on yesterday's post.

In response to your constructive comments regarding the difficulty in viewing the Ready Meal selection, the post has been temporarily removed. We are currently working on the payment portal to enhance the customer experience.

Regarding comments on pricing: Our website clearly highlights that the meals are freshly prepared by chefs rather than being mass-produced in a factory. This ensures premium quality, which is reflected in the pricing. Additionally, the portion size is 1kg ( enough for 4 adults), which may have been overlooked by those making negative remarks.
