Baker Wanted
We're looking for a passionate, skilled baker to join our team at Rock & Rise Sourdough — someone who respects the craft, thrives in an early-morning rhythm, and is eager to learn our methods and culture.
What You'll Bring:
1. Prior professional baking experience, preferably in an artisan or sourdough-focused bakery;
2. A genuine interest in fermentation, wild yeast, and the science of sourdough;
3. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn our specific processes, starters, and bake schedules;
4. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production kitchen
The Role
1. Hands-on bread production including mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking;
2. Maintaining and feeding our sourdough starters according to our protocols;
3. Upholding our quality standards and food safety practices;
Supporting prep and clean-up as part of daily operations
Schedule & Hours: Up to 30 Hours Per Week to Start
1. Early morning shifts; exact schedule based on production needs;
2. Weekend availability preferred;
3. Opportunity to grow hours as you become integrated into our team
