🎄✨ Something magical is coming to Carbonear this Christmas… ✨🎄
You may have already seen our announcement about Christmas on Water Street, but that’s only one little piece of what we have planned!
Elevate Balloons & Events, in partnership with Town of Carbonear, will be completely transforming a venue for a month-long Christmas experience. Think beautiful professional décor, themed stations, special events and plenty of Christmas magic for families, businesses, residents and visitors to enjoy. ❤️
Around November 1st, you’ll even start seeing a countdown appear in our window as we get closer to opening day! 👀🎄
And today, I want to introduce you to two very special little characters who are going to be a BIG part of our Christmas…
Meet Posy & Pickle! 🧝‍♀️🦌❤️
Posy is a sweet little North Pole elf, and Pickle is her adorable baby reindeer sidekick. I’ve been busy writing their very own Christmas story for Mrs. Claus to read during Storytime at our event.

There is SO much more I want to tell you, but I’m going to keep a little Christmas magic under wraps for now. 😉 We’ll be making announcements along the way, so follow along as we bring this entire experience to life.
And to our Carbonear and Water Street businesses — we want you to be part of it! If you’d like to get involved in Christmas on Water Street or our holiday events, please send me a message. I’ll also be reaching out to businesses over the coming weeks. We are encouraging you all to bring back a nostalgic Christmas feeling by decorating your store front 🎄✨
The response already has been incredible, and I truly believe this is going to be something very special for our community.

🎄✨ IT’S OFFICIAL — CHRISTMAS ON WATER STREET IS COMING! ✨🎄
I am SO excited to finally confirm that November 29th is officially booked for our Christmas on Water Street Market! ❤️
Beginning at 4 PM, we’re hoping to transform Water Street into an evening filled with that old-fashioned, Hallmark-movie Christmas feeling — twinkling lights, Christmas carolers, local shopping, delicious food and those little magical moments that make Christmas so special. 🎶🎁✨
And the market may only be the beginning! We’re hoping to have some other Christmas magic happening with businesses along Water Street that evening, so stay tuned as we share more details. 👀🎄
I’m currently working my way through the wonderful vendors who have already reached out and will be contacting you over the next few days. If you’re a vendor and would love to be part of this special Christmas event, please send me an inbox! Vendors will be carefully selected to give shoppers a great variety and avoid too much overlap in products.
And vendors… bring your Christmas A-game! 🎅🏻 There will be a prize for the MOST CHRISTMASSY VENDOR BOOTH! 🎄🏆✨
One of the things I’m most excited about is that this event is truly about community. All proceeds will go right back into our community, so while we’re celebrating Christmas and supporting local businesses, we’ll also be giving back to the place we call home. ❤️

There’s something really special about watching a small business open its doors. ❤️
I’m so excited to see Ruby’s opening and becoming another wonderful addition to our community! Carbonear is incredibly fortunate to have so many unique and hardworking local businesses, each bringing something different to our town.
Supporting small businesses doesn’t always mean spending money, either. Like their posts, share their content, recommend them to a friend, leave a review, congratulate them on their accomplishments and cheer them on. Those little things mean more than you realize.
There is room for all of us to succeed, and when we support one another, our entire community becomes stronger. ❤️
Congratulations to Ruby’s on this exciting new beginning. I can’t wait to see what you bring to Carbonear! 🎉
