The Lawn Chair Chronicles: A Golf Comeback Story 🏌️‍♂️🪑

Two seasons ago I was basically a human pretzel with joints that sounded like bubble wrap. Played 20 rounds, finished 5. My swing had less structure than IKEA furniture without instructions.So I did what any reasonable person does when their body stages a rebellion: I went from 280lbs to 220lbs, changed my diet, and got my life together. Last season I was playing like I was made of glass - 50 rounds but with more time off than a part-time barista. Still managed a 9 handicap (up from 6, but who's counting? 🙄).

Fast forward to now: I'm back up to 250lbs and my swing feels like I'm trying to hit a golf ball while trapped inside an unfolded lawn chair. Zero flexibility, negative balance, and my core is about as active as a sloth on vacation.Time to get back to work for next summer because this lawn chair needs to become a recliner again! 💪Winter training starts now. The golf course deserves better than whatever this current situation is calling itself.
