We’re starting something close to our hearts — Vendor Spotlight.
A space to share the people and stories behind our market.
Meet Shandi Thompson, the founder of Kravin’ Woman.
A story of healing, self-worth, and reconnecting with the body.
In her own words:
Kravin’ Woman was born from a deeply personal place of healing. There was a time when I felt undesired, unseen, and disconnected from myself. That experience led me to a quiet truth: I had abandoned my own needs while trying to hold on.
Everything changed when I chose to release those emotional ties and return to myself.
Around that same time, a close friend opened up about her struggle with recurrent imbalance, and I leaned into both my clinical knowledge and the botanical healing traditions rooted in my Caribbean heritage. What began as supporting her became a path back to myself.
“Kravin’” comes from craving, the desire to feel wanted. And “Woman,” because for many years, I didn’t fully feel like one.
I create intimate care products, but this work is about more than what you use. It’s about reconnecting with your body, your femininity, and your worth. Creating small rituals that remind you that you are deserving of care, softness, and being seen.
Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, blending science with Caribbean traditions to support both your skin and your confidence, because rediscovering yourself isn’t indulgent, it’s essential.
