WHAT A LAST 6 WEEKS!

The last month and a half has been an absolute whirlwind for Subsonic Soulmates! ❤️

We have had the privilege of being part of 12 incredible events, including some amazing weddings, celebrations, and unforgettable nights on the dance floor. 💃🕺

It’s been busy. REALLY busy.
But honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We love what we do.

We have a few more weddings left this season but not at the pace we have been going. We are looking forward to catching our breath, and recharging the batteries.

New venue. Big energy. One unforgettable surprise. ✨

We had such a great time recently celebrating Johnny and Kelseys wedding at the brand new Swansea Ranch in Windermere! And this wedding came with a pretty epic surprise for the guests… Geordie Kieffer hitting the stage! 🔥

Beautiful setting, packed dance floor, and definitely a night to remember.

We love it when weddings break the mould a little. 🧡💙

DÎNER EN BLANC - WHAT AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT! 🤍🇫🇷

This was our very first Dîner en Blanc experience… and what a way to experience it!
From the moment guests began arriving, the whole evening felt like stepping into another world. We had French lounge music filling the space as 450+ guests dressed head-to-toe in white made their way in, while mimes wandered through the crowd, setting the tone for a night that was definitely not your average event.

As the evening unfolded, the entertainment just kept building. ✨

A stunning Cirque aerialist performing overhead, others walking around on stilts, incredible lighting and production, beautiful details everywhere you looked… and then it was time to DANCE. 🔥

And Calgary absolutely brought it.

We had the dance floor PACKED. When we finally played our last track of the night, instead of clearing out, the crowd started chanting:
“ONE MORE HOUR! ONE MORE HOUR!” 🙌😂🔥 As DJs, there probably isn't a much better way to end a night than that.

There was something pretty magical about looking out over a sea of white, watching hundreds of people dancing, laughing and completely caught up in the experience together.

Thank you to everyone who brought the energy and allowed us to be part of such an incredible night. 🤍

ADRIEl & ANDREW’S EPIC FESTIVAL STYLE WEDDING!

What an absolutely unforgettable night celebrating Adriel & Andrew at the amazing Waterfront Park! ❤️

This was definitely not your typical wedding! The energy was incredible from start to finish!

A huge shoutout to our good friend The Sundance Kid who absolutely crushed it behind the decks and kept the party going all night long!

And Michele absolutely knocked it out of the park as the MC and coordinator! Her energy, organization, and ability to keep everything flowing made the entire evening come together perfectly.

Most importantly, congratulations to Adriel & Andrew! Thank you for letting us be part of such an amazing celebration. Your love, your friends, your family, and your willingness to throw one hell of a party made this wedding one to remember!

A Love Story, a Song, and a Beautiful Day at Glencoe

Some moments at weddings are simply unforgettable; and Judy and Clark’s celebration at the Glencoe Golf & Country Club was one of those moments. What an absolutely amazing venue for such a special day!

But one moment in particular really stood out…

Judy took the time to sing a song that she created especially for Clark. There was something so special about hearing her put her own words and emotions into a song for the person she loves. You could feel the meaning behind every note.

It wasn’t just a performance, it was a beautiful, personal declaration of love, shared with everyone there.

From the stunning surroundings at Glencoe, to the laughter and celebrations, Judy and Clark’s day was filled with the kind of memories that stay with you long after the music stops.

Thank you, Judy and Clark, for allowing us to be part of such a beautiful celebration. ❤️

Super excited to have been asked to be a part of the annual event. Even though there are lots of DJs that are attending the event, with us live streaming means that they can spend time connecting and sharing stories together.

Some weddings just have that magic.

This last last weekend, Michele had the honour of serving as both DJ and Master of Ceremonies for Tanaya & Brandon's beautiful wedding at Gathering Ranch in Strathmore, Alberta.

With temperatures soaring, we weren't sure what the dance floor would look like... but this crowd had other plans.

From the very first dance to the final song of the night, the dance floor stayed packed with family and friends who were ready to celebrate every moment. There is nothing better than watching a room full of people forget about the heat and simply enjoy being together.

Being trusted to guide the flow of the day as MC while creating the soundtrack for such an incredible celebration is something we never take for granted.

Tanaya & Brandon, thank you for letting us be part of your love story. We wish you both a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and unforgettable dance floors.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding.

It was an honour to celebrate alongside our friends, Timo & Marlee, as they began this new chapter together.

This wedding was special for another reason too, I had the opportunity to emcee a wedding for the very first time. Stepping into that role reminded me that great weddings aren't about having all the attention. They're about helping every moment flow naturally so couples can simply enjoy being surrounded by the people they love.

A big thank you to Cody from Calgary Best DJs Incorporated for being an incredible partner throughout the day. Working alongside other professionals who care about creating a great guest experience makes all the difference.

One of my favourite parts of every wedding is experiencing the traditions that make each celebration unique. I even had the chance to try some of Timo's and Marlee's heritage foods, including haggis and pickled herring, a memorable experience that added another layer of connection to an already meaningful day.

Congratulations again, Timo & Marlee. Thank you for trusting us to be part of such an important celebration. We wish you a lifetime filled with laughter, love, and countless moments worth celebrating.
