All the pretty details are the way to my heart.

When thinking about your welcome table my best suggestion is to keep it simple. You will need a spot for guests to place cards/ gifts, a place to sign your guestbook (or guestbook alternative) and simple signage.

I also always suggest to our couples to add your engagement photos or special photos of you!!

Wedding Day Tip:
Dreaming up your ideal table design can get overwhelming fast...even faster when you find out the costs associated with all the pretty things.

Beautiful design doesn’t have to cost a fortune but you need to know where to invest your hard earned dollars to maximize the impact!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
D&T opted for a beautifully detailed dinner plate which did double duty as a faux charger. We used the silverware included with their venue, live edge wood harvest tables to add warmth to the reception space and a classic white pocket-folded napkin.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We opted to include their custom jam jar favours at each guest place setting, simple script place cards and a fresh sprig of eucalyptus tucked into every napkin.

The result = thoughtfully curated design, warm classic tones, and special guest touches without breaking their budget.

If you are designing your wedding tables and wondering where to invest:
-use what is included by your venue *keeping in mind your overall design plan
-upgrade to a fancier dinner plate or rent a beautiful charger
-opt for a beautifully printed place card or menu to personalize each guest setting
-consider putting your guest favours on the table as part of your decor
-a simple sprig of greenery or babies breath goes a long way when incorporated intentionally
