The Kingston Cutie Parade was a hit once again!

The residents at Cataraqui Heights Retirement Residence were ecstatic with some sweet new faces roaming the halls & playing some games.

I can't put into words the energy of the room today hearing the comments from staff ( " this resident hasn't laughed in ... I don't even know how long. This is wild " , " that resident doesn't come out of her room for ANYTHING, and she just walked out to see them. " ) Events like this boost the mental health of everyone involved & should be more common in all homes!

🥳 I was beyond excited to host Life with a Baby 's very first KINGSTON CUTIE PARADE - and checkout just how cute ( and spoooooky ) some of our attendees were today! It was so great connecting with new & returning members - and what an awesome trial run for the costumes 😍

Welcoming expecting & new / moms to connect through Life with a Baby

Our organization is about supporting post partum mother's through their journey with the power of ' the village ' and helping each mom make connections to build their village ❤️

I will be organizing some informational groups with subjects ranging from CPR for infants & babies, introduction to solids, feeding your baby ( talks on nursing, pumping, bottle feeding & more ) , mental health talks & more.

I am excited about my new role as Kingston's Social Coordinator for Life with a Baby !! Over the past few weeks I have hosted playgroups and will continue to schedule more meetups for mother's & their young around YGK ❤️
