Another month, another charity ❤️

April 4th - 6th Dingaling's Chicken Wings hosted their monthly charity weekend raising funds for Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Kingston

This initiative is geared to help shed light on local charities making a difference in our community. Together, we can be the change!

To make this fundraising effort even more impactful, we have teamed up with Wolfe Bros Contracting who will be MATCHING THE DONATIONS 😍

Last month I worked with the great team at Dingaling's Chicken Wings to host their first monthly charity weekend!

The first weekend of each month ( yes, Friday too! ) Dingaling's will donate $1 for every pound sold to a local charity organization!

With the help of our wonderful customers, we made a donation of $200 to Martha's Table and learned a bit more about the amazing work they do for our community. Food insecurity has skyrocketed and every little bit helps.

Join us this coming weekend ( April 4/5/6 ) for Dingaling's Charity Weekend raising funds for Habitat for Humanity KINGSTON.

🚨The holidays for some are fast approaching - please consider this, even if you don't celebrate.

The reason for this is to help families who cannot afford to shop brand new when gifting toys and items.

⏹️For the month of November, assign each person in your family a box. During the month of November, each person is responsible for filling their box full of gift worthy items they would like to donate.

⚠️Once full, drop this box off at a local thrift store
** unless there is a toy drive accepting used toys but not that I'm aware of at the moment *
( ideally one that doesn't skyrocket the pricing like VV ) 🫶🏽if you have the time and capacity, considering looking for thrift stores in low income areas to help target those who need it most.

Again, whether you celebrate or not - this is a great initiative to make everyone think a little bit about the items they have and how simply they can make someone else happy

Silver cinema in Gananoque has this little indoor playground! Only $10 a climber and no time limit!

I have not been yet but I will try to plan a day for us all to get together!

🎤 Huge shoutout to STRUCKBLOG for hosting her VERY FIRST mama meetup at BGC today!! With her hard work and determination, she managed to secure the BGC West jungle gym today from 9-12 with a DISCOUNTED RATE of just $5 per child!! 🤯

We had an absolute BLAST meeting other mamas and enjoying some play time! This group was organized through Kingston Meet Up Moms ( a group created to bring moms together. If you don't want to head to the park and risk it being empty, create a post in the group and see if anyone else is up for a playdate )

I have met some incredible moms through these groups and I am so happy that even through & after covid, we can still come together and support eachother like the community we need & deserve ❤️

We are SO EXCITED to welcome back the International Bazaar to the Islamic Centre of Kingston

I want to very strongly emphasize that this exciting event is open to EVERYONE! We want to welcome the community to enjoy some delicious and authentic food, artisans, crafters and so much more!
