We have sat silenced long ENOUGH!!!!!
Our game truck has been broken into for the 2nd time during pandemic. They took it all... the gaming consoles, remotes, games, sound bars, a TV... They are so pathetic they even took the fire extinguisher, garbage can AND the cord to power of trailer😡 When will businesses get a fair chance? All these closures make us their target. We are already struggling and now this.

To the bastards out there who broke into our trailer, we know your watching and reading this. Your devious, malicious disgusting behavior will one day be the cause for your lose or destruction. If you don't feel it, then it will be felt by your future generation. Karma has a way of constantly making you suffer.

If you know anything about Kidnetix, you know that we are not just about partying it up. We care about our community, we support single mothers with limited income, we provide camp opportunities for children in foster care or escaping violence in the home. We provide job opportunities for povertized/ at risk youth, educational resources and hundreds of food baskets for families each month. YOU took away some of those opportunities when you broke into our trailer...YOU totally RUINED multiple children's birthdays because of greed and selfishness.

You have targeted us enough! We will rise above this and continue to serve the community.

Today I met with House of FAME and Kidnetix Kidz Association – both Black female-led organizations in #BramptonWest. We discussed the work that they do and how our government can support economic empowerment for Black entrepreneurs and business owners. House of FAME is a local family run dance studio owned by Shereeka Gray here in Brampton West. She started House of FAME in 2018 at the age of 25 after seeing the need for diversity within dance and art spaces. Since then, Shereeka has built a community at House of FAME that transcends dance. Through mentorship, self-care, and mental health workshops – Shereeka has ensured that needs of her diverse community are met, while bringing people together through art. Kidnetix Kidz Association is a local not for profit organization in Brampton West led by Stayce Grant. Though the pandemic has been challenging for their organization, Kidnetix has used their resources along with federal support like the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative to pivot a temporary program into something long-lasting. Through their programs, Kidnetix has helped over 150 families and served almost 18,000 meals to those in need. I am proud to be part of a government that supports these excellent Black-owned and Black female led organizations in Brampton West that continue to offer a safe space and support during these difficult times.
