A while back, I attended an employee appreciation BBQ, where I drew live caricatures for the staff. This couple waited in line for over 30 minutes.
The line was not a problem for them. It became part of the experience. They talked to each other, met new people.

I’ve seen even the quietest guests light up when they get their own caricature.
That moment of surprise, that burst of laughter - it’s the start of a real connection.
I see this every time I draw at a corporate event.

At a recent wedding party, I met an aunt who had traveled from the United States. She wanted a special souvenir of her niece, because they live far apart and do not see each other often.

At first, they weren't sure live caricatures would be the right fit...
They were concerned that this art form wouldn't be kind to their attendees.

I understand why,

Caricatures are cartoon portraits where features and proportions are often exaggerated to reflect one's personality and presence.

For better or worse, caricatures forever change how you see yourself.

But that's exactly why I saw this as an opportunity! 😎

I had the privilege of sharing with these incredibly resilient human beings how I see them.

I didn't start Caricature Creators to make a living drawing people while making fun of them.

No one who ever hires my team will have to worry about their guests getting offended by our work.
