🍁 Fall Colours Are Coming Fast!

The first signs of autumn are here. With the dry summer we’ve had, our experts expect a shorter season, and peak colours could arrive within the next few weeks.

Spotted at Tiffin: Meet the Red Eft, the terrestrial stage of the Eastern (red-spotted) newt.

These tiny wanderers spend several years exploring the forest floor before returning to ponds and wetlands as adults to live and breed. Their bright orange colour warns predators and reminds us of the amazing wildlife that shares our trails. Keep your eyes on the forest floor and you might spot this colourful little explorer.

Staff Spotlight!

Meet Elise, NVCA’s Community Engagement Coordinator!

Elise is the go-to person for facility rentals and event planning at the Tiffin Centre. From weddings and parties to family picnics, corporate meetings, and even group camping, she helps bring special gatherings to life.

What Elise loves most is creating opportunities for people to connect with nature while celebrating life’s important moments in such a beautiful setting. While you may connect with her over email or phone, she is always happy to take a walk around Tiffin with you to explore event possibilities in person.

After a hot and dry summer, we’re so happy to finally have some rain!
