A & J are getting married at Tiffin this weekend! 🤍

Their Tiffin story started a little earlier with a beautiful engagement session at Papa Bear Pond. 🛶

Did you know? Engagement photo permits are included with Tiffin wedding rentals, so couples can explore the property with their photographer before the big day.

Nature’s very own “Coat of Many Colours”! 🎶

Meet one of Tiffin’s little residents: the short-tailed weasel, also known as a stoat or ermine. This clever critter changes the colour of its coat with the seasons!

In summer, its coat is a rich brown, helping it blend into the forest floor. When winter arrives, it transforms into a beautiful snowy white coat, perfect camouflage against the snow.

Talk about having a wardrobe for every season!

Keep your eyes peeled on your next visit to Tiffin, you never know who you might spot!

A big thank you to our summer students, Gillian, James, Jakob and Christian, who have officially wrapped up their contracts with our Lands and Operations team!

From maintaining our conservation areas and preparing for events to lending a hand with special projects, they worked hard and supported our team in so many ways throughout the summer.

They were a great crew, and we will miss having them around! Please join us in wishing them all the best as they return to school and head into their next adventures.

If you only see the Great Room during the week, you might not recognize it on a Saturday!

Throughout the week, it welcomes hundreds of kids for hands-on environmental education. Then, on the weekends, it transforms into a reception space, and we love seeing what each couple does with it.

The vaulted ceilings, large windows and warm wood tones fit right in with the surrounding forest, while the wood-burning fireplace makes the room especially cozy on cooler days.

One of our favourite parts of weekends is coming in to see how couples have made the space their own. Every setup is a little different!
